24th Century Star Trek Generation

Captain Jean-Luc Picard stars in Star Trek: The Next Generation. The timeline is in the 24th century and he is aboard the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D), a larger remake of the NCC-1701-B ship captained by James T. Kirk in the 23rd century. This ship is built larger so that men and women can enjoy long-term exploratory missions by feeling like they are at home in the ship. It provides the comfort of being at home life larger rooms that could accommodate spouses, dishes that suit every palate, school, and a bar for unwinding.

The mission from James T. Kirk’s time to seek out new life and reach places where no one else had gone before remained the mission of the new generation although it was no longer limited to five years. In this generation, The Klingons were allies of the Federation while the Romulans are still their adversary. Other threats have appeared like the Ferengi, the Cardassians, and the Borg. Although some of the original film lovers had a difficult time accepting the new series, it had managed to bring the same Star Trek quality later with more serious and dramatic episodes.

The series paved the way for the making and introduction of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Enterprise, and Star Trek: Voyager. Patrick Stewart played as Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Jonathan Frakes played the role of Commander William T. Riker. LeVar Burton played as Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge, Denise Crosby as Lt. Tasha Yar, Michael Dorn as Lt. Worf, Gates McFadden as Dr. Beverly Crusher, and Wil Wheaton played as Wesley Crusher.
